Science is ACE!

The pupils and staff at St Cuthbert's Roman Catholic Primary got Science Week off to a good start this week when Highfield teacher Pete Westhorpe was invited in to do some 'Science is Fun' demonstrations.

Organised by St Cuthbert's Governor, Angela Simpkin and together with Year 10 Highfield pupils James Currey and Ben Harrison- the week certainly got off to a bang!

Rockets flew towards the sky, hair stood on end, tin lids hit the dinning hall roof and sparks jumped from noses!

Teacher, Pete Westhorpe, said " Its always great to visit St Cuthbert's, the children here all want to learn.  They find Science so exciting. Highfield was pleased to be asked back today to get thing off to a good start".

Well done to all the children at St Cuthbert's and good luck with the rest of your Science Week.
