Every one finds it difficult to settle in at the start of a new school year.

That includes the staff and even Mr Evans.

New classes, new rooms, new rules and new teachers, it can all get a little   too much.

If you’re a new Year 7 student its even worse!

Its no wonder some people panic!

However there is no need to. Highfield High is full of people   who want to help you.

You can ask a prefect – they always know what to do.

With over 60 teachers there is always someone around to help.

Take a look at your school map

If you loose your timetable you will have to go to reception for help there you will be able to find your class on our computer network.

TIPS

When you get your timetable make several copies.

Write one into your homework diary – you are not likely to loose this.

At the end of a lesson why not ask your teacher to explain where your next class is.

Ask your tutor to put a copy of your timetable on the tutor group wall.
