Some tips for healthy eating:
- Use vegetable oil not animal fat in your frying
and baking.
- Grill food if you can.
- Eat 5 portions of fruit per day.
- Cut down on foods with lots of sugar.
- Eat less fried foods.
- Balance your diet - junk food is OK if, on
another day, you eat wisely.
- Use low fat spreads instead of butter.
- Snack foods like crisps or nuts contain lots of
fat - avoid them.
- Fizzy drinks can have loads of sugar in them -
choose a 'lite' version such as diet coke.
