Use 5 minute revision 'bites'
Use you revision book to intensly revise in 5 minute blocks - write note or scribble in the margin. Use highlighters or post it notes to make your revision interactive. In 5 minutes you can lear up to 25 facts!

The average revison time for a GCSE subject is in excess of 20 hours - other pupils all round the country will do this to prepare for their exams - make sure you are not left behind!

Practice past examination papers - these are available on the SAM Learning site mentioned above.

Early nights and a proper breakfast before examinations, including a drink will make you feel more comfortable and will really increase your concentration.

Come well equipped with spare pens, rulers, pencils and a calculator if one is allowed in the exam. Being properly equipped will give you confidence and get you into the right frame of mind!

Arrive at the exam hall a little earlier that the starting time - talking with friends outside and sharing a few words will make you feel better. Your teacher may also be about to give you some last minute advice and boost your confidence!
